Our long awaited 1920s Shawl collar cardigan has arrived. After nearly 3 1/2 years of sampling and research we finally have a cardigan which we think is quite different to anything else out there. We went to great lengths to try and get as an exact match to the original. The weight is heavy 6 ply wool, like the original, the tension in the stitch is correct, the all important collar shape is spot on and the overall shape when wearing is perfect. We also used some beautiful crafted Corozo buttons by Courtney & Co. to finish it off.
Made in thick British wool 6 ply that has been washed to soften the feel and to give the garment more rigidity. Its is almost jacket weight, and therefore could be worn as an outer layer on a dry cold day. We have styled it in a traditional tailored way; with a shirt and tie, but it will also look good as a workwear piece, when accompanied with selvedge denim.

USA deliveries are via DHL which takes 2-4 days from posting - £30.
European deliveries are via Royal Mail Tracked which takes 2-11 days from posting (excluding waiting times for customs) - £20.

Christmas Posting Information 2024
All orders received by 21st December will be posted before Christmas - UK and Overseas
Please order the day before these dates for delivery to be received before Christmas:
Europe - Friday 6th December (order on/by 5th December)
Rest of World - Friday 6th December (order on/by 5th December)
USA - Wednesday 18th December (order on/by 17th December)
UK - Saturday 21st December (order on/by 20th December)
Any orders place during November/December have an extended returns/exchange period. Orders to be returned to us by 14th January 2025 and are then subject to normal returns/exchange policy.
Customs & Duties
If your delivery address is outside of the UK you may have to pay Import VAT and Import Duties which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You must meet any additional charges for customs clearance. Please note, customs policies vary widely from country to country so we recommend you contact your local customs office for further information.
Please note international shipments may be subject to cross border inspections by customs authorities.
If you would prefer us to pay the duties ahead of posting which makes for a quicker process through customs please let us know. We will then raise an invoice with you and upon settlement the item will be posted.
