FAIR ISLE SLIPOVER - "THE FITZROY 24"

£150.00

A beautiful, authentic mens Fair Isle slipover made popular in the 1920s/30s by the then Prince of Wales. The rusty red/brown colour of this slipover instantly transports you back to a time of tweed and wool knitwear often worn during that time. The company that makes our Fair Isle slipovers was established in the early 1890s, and the family have been working with pure Shetland wool for over 120 years.  The knitwear is produced in the Shetland Islands, from their own yarns.  These classically styled knits are constructed from 100% Pure Shetland wool showcasing traditional all-over Fair Isle designs - the perfect combination of luxury and comfort.

A truly stylish piece as popular now as it was in the 20s. This sweater will finish off any vintage golfing outfit, perfect for hickory golf days! Slightly shorter in the body to sit nicely on high waisted trousers.

Made in Shetland.

The Fitzroy 24 is being modelled by Rob.

Rob is 6" tall, has a 40 inch chest and is wearing the size small.
