A stunning example of a leather kit bag, more commonly known as a Gladstone bag, made by WS Foster & Sons of Jermyn Street, London. WS Foster & Sons was established in 1840, and is still operating and in private English ownership.
This bag is in near perfect condition, after having minimal use (made 2010s). The leather has been fed and is in a nice supple condition, there are no rips or tears and the stitching is all intact and strong. The original lining as you would expect is in perfect condition.
The bag comes complete with a set of keys, leather name tag and shoulder strap.
This bag is large! Measuring 55cm x 36cm x 30cm. You can fit a lot of kit in there! For someone who has always desired one of these, then it's a must have item.
They stopped making bags like this in 2019. The last time I looked they were retailing at £2500 plus VAT! If you own a Pre-war classic or just love the style of the 1920/30s then this one is for you.

USA deliveries are via DHL which takes 2-4 days from posting - £30.
European deliveries are via Royal Mail Tracked which takes 2-11 days from posting (excluding waiting times for customs) - £20.

Christmas Posting Information 2024
All orders received by 21st December will be posted before Christmas - UK and Overseas
Please order the day before these dates for delivery to be received before Christmas:
Europe - Friday 6th December (order on/by 5th December)
Rest of World - Friday 6th December (order on/by 5th December)
USA - Wednesday 18th December (order on/by 17th December)
UK - Saturday 21st December (order on/by 20th December)
Any orders place during November/December have an extended returns/exchange period. Orders to be returned to us by 14th January 2025 and are then subject to normal returns/exchange policy.
Customs & Duties
If your delivery address is outside of the UK you may have to pay Import VAT and Import Duties which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You must meet any additional charges for customs clearance. Please note, customs policies vary widely from country to country so we recommend you contact your local customs office for further information.
Please note international shipments may be subject to cross border inspections by customs authorities.
If you would prefer us to pay the duties ahead of posting which makes for a quicker process through customs please let us know. We will then raise an invoice with you and upon settlement the item will be posted.
